Alpha Luna - comic for 21 December, 2011

Merry Christmas everyone! And so it begins again... yep, the infamous transformations scenes. Don't expect it to be as long as the previous one, after all Luna's body is starting to get used to them. Upcoming pages will go and come between Collie and Luna in opposition to what the first transformation was. Still I expect to make it -artistically- better than last time, I'll try ;)

In other subject, some people wonder about the lack of shading of the pages. Well I haven't been working on it since I got help back when I was in the middle of issue 3. But when I came back this late my friend have been too busy to work in the shades as he used to do.
With time I hope we can catch up, but meanwhile I just post the ink work because that is what really matters. Shades are important for the publishing of the book, but in the mean time I don't consider it a priority, besides I already work a lot in the page as it is just by myself, I hope you understand.

As you know next weekends are Christmas and New year. So these weeks I'll updating 1 page a week.
Next will be on Dec 28.

And so, we keep returning to familiar faces. I bet most people don't like him as a character :p, but he has a role to play in here. My brother think I created David after him, 'cause he has the same name. But the truth is that I see the character as a reflection of him when he was young, but now is a whole different person, not so much of a jerk, lol.
The sames goes for my 3 main characters, there are part of me within Luna, Collie and Fang. Aspects of myself than within shyness, cunning or courage to name a few I see reflected as I draw them.

Anyway, about the banner . It's not finished and it will probably be early next week with the wolf Luna colored and all. About the BG, it's normal that not everybody see the whole image depending of your screen resolution, that's how BG are. But I'll see if I came in with another idea, I'm still testing.

Next page won't come until next Wednesday. I really need the whole weekend to catch up with a few commissions. Take care.

Well, the Con came and go. While these are small fairs compared to what you may are thinking, we have a great time because it's all focused onto comics and nothing else, which are great times to promote and share what your work.

Anyway, back to Alpha Luna. You may have noticed I've added a few things to the web like the background image which I'm not sure of keep it or not just yet. Also added an "I like alpha luna" button ;). And now my Google+ page is on the links.

My next thing will be to update the top banner with a new drawing, stay tunned.

About the page, I bet you can almost guess what's coming next ;) , take care.

First of all, If you have noticed there are new ways to support the site. In the link "support" above you know can choose whatever you want to get for a small donation.
You gotta feed the new "Luna pet" you know, it eat like a dinosaur xp.
But clicking on the Luna pets won't give you anydthing i nreturn just yet, I need to update those image links, meanwhile donators should use the "support" link.

And yes I'm late, but in the end I prefer take no easy routes and take the time needed to not spoil a page.

Next page should come between next Saturday and Sunday, Im not sure because here in Santiago I need to attend a comic convention.

Alpha Luna - comic for 03 December, 2011

Ok. First things first...
If your'e noticing something strange with the continuity of the comic, well you're just seeing things xp (lies!)
The truth is that I decided back in the previous splash page that Luna was already growing large fangs just for the sake of the scene and probably because there was a lapse we could've missed since the last chapter up to this scene.

But making page 15 I realized that Collie should have some kind of reaction to this and this wasn't written into the scene so in the end I decided to make the fangs a bit of revelation with the last shot of this page. All in for the benefit of the story. So, if you're still seeing large fangs with Luna in the previous page, you just need to refresh the page and you'll see it's been updated.

Anyway, thanks to those who shared a few hours on the Stream session while I did this page. take care!

Change of plans. As I was doing the layout of next page, decided to make it a splash page in the end. Meaning it's a double page, thus double work.

I don't get it why after being a vicious werewol in Skyrim, later still guards will come at you and will recognize your bad actions, doesn't make any sense! .
Anyway, did you know you can have your own avatar when you make a comment here below? You only have to go to gravatar.com and register. Isn't much of a hassle, believe me.

And, yes... Ivan is well, having a strange teeth issue, I wonder what it is. For those who guessed previously you won ...a cookie, horray! :D
And about Luna... don't worry wel'll get back with her pretty soon.

Late again, I know. But hey, I do my best ;) - And due time I'll be putting next comic page on Wednesday. Just one page this week so I can catch up with some commission I have and maybe try out Skyrim now that I'm done with Uncharted 3 story :p

Thanks for the positive feedback I've gotten lately and I really appreciate you liked last gift pic I made :) maybe I'll be tempted to do another one in the future.
